Health Monitoring of Power Electronics

Health monitoring and performance prediction of power electronics converters increase the reliability and reduce the soft costs of their host systems. The systems can be electric vehicles, solar-battery power plants, or power routers. Resistance of semiconductor power devices, the building block for power electronics converters is considered as a key signature to identify a failure. Tell-iā€™s SensAI family of sensing platforms are developed to address the need for in-situ monitoring of the resistance of high voltage power devices. Incorporating Deep-learning based methods such as DeepRace with the data provided by SensAI platforms results in accurate modeling the performance of power converters over its lifetime.
